About This Quote

There are some people who cannot learn, fixed in their ways as they are. You are naive to think otherwise. It’s an illness, Assassin, for which there is but one cure.” These lines were said by Ezio Auditore da Firenze, a distant relative of Altaïr and an Assassin in the Italian Brotherhood of Assassins. He said this while speaking to Altaïr and explaining why he must be put to rest. He said these words because he could not accept that Altaïr was not like other people and would not follow the Brotherhood’s way of life, just because he did not believe that Altaïr should care about the things that other people care about.
